Product Description
Features & Details
Lactic Acid is an organic acid that is part of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acid
(AHA) family. The main function of this ingredient is to treat moderate to severe hyperpigmentation and show successful results in treating melasma, which works by blocking tyrosinase,
therefore reducing melanin production.
Kojic Acid treats melasma by acting as a tyrosinase inhibitor. Tyrosinase is a special enzyme located in melanocytes, the cells that
produce melanin, a substance that gives color to your eyes, skin, and hair. Kojic Acid prevents the formation of tyrosine, an amino acid
converted by tyrosinase. This reduced production of tyrosine results
in less melanin production, leading to an improved complexion and
fewer dark patches caused by melasma.
Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate is an amino acid-derived cleansing agent
considered to be a mild, non-drying cleanser and surfactant
composed of Glycine and a fatty acid. It is primarily used as a
cleanser that deeply cleanses the skin, leaving it smooth and soft.
This ingredient provides a rich lather that feels good upon
application and is considered safe and non-irritating to the skin
